Why settle for one eye exam

when you can have two?

An Eyology appointment combines the health-promoting benefits of Iridology and Sclerology sessions into one information-packed consultation.

I highly recommend this detailed health analysis!

Sherri answers these common Eyology questions:

What is Eyology?

Eyology is a non-invasive and save way to get a comprehensive idea of your health status. It combines the sciences of Iridology and Sclerology, enhancing the eye analysis session. It considers the relationship between the signs, colors and markings in both the iris and the sclera and how they correlate with health conditions.

Eyology (pronounced eye-ol'-ogy) was a term created by Dr. Leonard Mehlmauer, ND. Using this one word makes it much simpler when talking about this appointment!

What are the benefits of Eyology?

An Eyology appointment is an information-packed session that blends the Iridology and Sclerology sessions to include a full nutritional consultation, iris PLUS sclera photos (10-14 pictures total), and recommendations.

Two unique aspects of this session:
  • The connections it shows between emotions and how they are affecting the body

  • The relationship between symptoms and root causes

This is the only session I offer that combines two modalities into one appointment, allowing us a unique perspective of your health that will help you understand your situation and your body in a new and empowering way.

(For more information on Iridology or Sclerology, see the website pages that feature those modalities.)

What happens in an Eyology session?

As stated, an Eyology appointment includes two modalities, Iridology and Sclerology.

In an Eyology appointment, I listen to your concerns and we discuss your health goals. Then I take pictures of your iris and sclera -- a total of 10-14 pictures. These are painless and your eyes are untouched. Even small children have had these pictures done!

The pictures are developed and within minutes we are discussing the indicators in your eyes that may be pointing to symptoms and conditions you feel. In most sessions, the eyes reveal something that the client either forgot about or didn't think was relevant to their situation. It truly is amazing what the eye shows! It seems to be an external reflection of what goes on internally.

What does an Eyology appointment include?

An Eyology session includes:

  • Health interview
  • 2-4 Pictures of your irises
  • 8-10 pictures of your sclera
  • Assessment of the findings
  • Recommendations that may include nutrition, lifestyle, emotional support, or other natural and health-promoting activities

Like the other forms of eye analysis, Eyology does not attempt to address a specific symptom or disease. However, once uncovered, these imbalances (and factors contributing to them) can be addressed, often causing symptoms to diminish or disappear.

Eyology is an outstanding tool for someone wanting to make the most of their life. I recommend everyone have an eye analysis!

How long is a session?

Because of the number of photos involved and the time it takes to inspect them, the Eyology sessions are a minimum of 90 minutes. They do include a full health evaluation, and follow up with a set of unique recommendations just for you.

If you are concerned about your appointment running longer than 90 minutes and the costs involved, let me know at the beginning of the session and I'll make sure we finish on time.

How much do they cost?

Eyology sessions are billed at $90 per hour and typically last 90 minutes, making the session a total of $135.  During this time, you will discover many interesting things about yourself and how you can incorporate health-building activities, foods, and supplements  into your life that will be beneficial for your body type.
